AWS RDS Multi AZ Deployment

  1. Create new VPC "RDSVPC" with CIDR block is "10.10.0.0/16"
  2. Create new IGW "RDSIGW"
  3. Attach RDSIGW to RDSVPC
  1. Create public subnet "rds-pub-subnet"  with CIDR block is "10.10.0.0/24"
  1. Create route table "rds-rt-public" under "RDSVPC"
  1. Add route IGW "RDSIGW" to route table "rds-rt-public"show

 

  1. Go to subnet association and select public subnet "rds-pub-subnet"

 

  1. Create private subnet "rds-pri-master-subnet" with CIDR block is "10.10.1.0/24"
  1. Create private subnet "rds-pri-replica-subnet" with CIDR block is "10.10.2.0/24"

 

  1. Create route table "rds-rt-private" under "RDSVPC"
  1. Go to subnet association and select private subnet's "rds-pri-master-subnet" & "rds-pri-replica-subnet"
